As a proud Indy native, I’m excited to share my newest book that is all about our Hoosier state and its capital city!
Super Cities! – Indianapolis (Arcadia Publishing, Feb. 2023) is a new book that uncovers treasures just around the corner, unearths hidden history, and celebrates being a Hoosier! There’s 96 pages of the history, people, sports, and culture of the Circle City – something for everyone!

Kindred Spirits - J Whit and and Poetry Slam

Kindred Spirits – J Whit and the Poetry Slam  (Amazon Publishing Pros Dec. 2022) is inspired by the true story of a random connection between James Whitcomb Riley and Paul Laurence Dunbar more than 100 years ago. This historical fiction novel for grades 5-9 is the real story they don’t tell you. It’s my third independently published book. I’m looking for teachers, community members, and fellow writers to write reviews for Kindred Spirits and participate in a planned education program starting this fall. Email for a review copy.
